TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG

Whether you are taking your dog on holidays, a run at the beach or lake, or just to the local park then we have some great products to make your journey easier, cleaner and more stylish!

 

OUT AND ABOUT WITH YOUR DOG

Australians love to take their dog with them on outings.  We have some tips and great products to make your adventure one that is fun & stress free.

For a day outing it is important that you have a pet travel bowl such as Popware collapsible bowls, Kurgo Collapsa travel bowl, or the Outward Hound Port-a-bowl,  to ensure you can give your dog clean, fresh water.  For puppies and young dogs that are still on several meals a day, the Popware duo  are great products that allows you to have their food, water and a handy bowl all in one, ready to use when needed. 

If space is an issue then the collapsible bowls easily store in your bag and fill with water when needed.  

Remember to always have dog poop bags with you.  You can face a nasty fine for not even having them on you, even if you don't need to use them.  Doog, Pet Designz and Bags on Board are all quality products that really are a neccisity these days.  Remember it also keeps our parks, beaches and footpaths clean if we all clean up after our dog!

DOOG has fantastic products available and I find these the best on the market. Going for a walk or outing with your dog should be enjoyable, I used to find it quite annoying having to weigh down my pockets with keys, money and hold a phone (in case of emergencies) and a dog all at once.  That’s until I discovered the range of DOOG products.

Using a DOOG Mini Belt and Walkie Belt are just such great alternatives then trying to undertake a juggling act.

The DOOG mini belt is great for your daily walks.  It has a nice elasticised adjustable belt and comes with a pack of 20 poop bags.  The other zippered compartment is big enough to fit an iphone or your keys, credit card or a bit of change it you need to stop at the shop along the way.

 
 

The DOOG Walkie Belt is another alternative  - it comes with 20 poop bags which are easy to access, plenty of room to hold treats, your phone, credit card and keys.   It also has a loop on the side to place your ipod and a Velcro attachment to place your dog’s favourite tennis ball.

All come in great colours and I have found my walks with my dog a lot more enjoyable having my DOOG products with me. If you are planning a camping trip or a day at the beach it is worthwhile ensuring you are prepared with

If your dog is anything like mine, nothing beats a day running along the sand and playing in the water.  Australia has some great Dog-Friendly off leash beaches.  It's important to do your research prior to letting your dog loose on the beach as you can face fines in areas where dogs are not free to roam.
