Drontal Worming Treatment for Dogs
Drontal is a highly effective worming treatment that targets and eliminates all common gastrointestinal worms, including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm (including hydatids). While Drontal effectively kills adult worms present in the intestines at the time of treatment, it is important to note that it is not a vaccination against future infestations. Regular treatment with Drontal is essential, as dogs and cats can easily become reinfected from other animals or from the environment.
Treatment Schedule for Dogs:

Puppies:
- 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks of age
- Monthly at 4, 5, and 6 months of age
- Every 3 months thereafter

Pregnant and Lactating Bitches:
- Before mating
- 10 days before whelping
- 2 and 4 weeks after whelping

Hydatid Tapeworm Areas:
- Dogs in hydatid tapeworm zones should be treated every 6 weeks.
Dosage:
- One Drontal 10kg chew is sufficient to treat a dog weighing up to 10kg.

Drontal all wormer
By: Kim Van Le on 2 October 2016I'm always careful to review products before I use them as my dogs are my family and I want to understand how things work. Out of all the worming tablets and flea,tick and heart worm drops, there are only a handful of bad reviews compared to the 100's of bad reviews on other products including side effects that cause death, hair loss and sicknesses. So I decided to give this one a try and my dogs are perfectly fine plus the bonus that it was very effective at killing worms. Please be careful what you buy guys! Do your research.
