Drontal Worming Treatment for Dogs
Drontal is a powerful and reliable deworming treatment that effectively targets and eliminates a wide range of gastrointestinal worms, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms (including hydatids). While Drontal eliminates adult worms present in the intestines at the time of treatment, it is important to note that it does not provide immunity against future infestations. Regular administration of Drontal is essential for maintaining your pet’s health, as reinfection can occur through contact with other animals or contaminated environments.
Recommended Treatment Schedule for Dogs:

Puppies:
- 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks of age
- Monthly at 4, 5, and 6 months of age
- Every 3 months thereafter

Pregnant and Lactating Bitches:
- Before mating
- 10 days prior to whelping
- 2 and 4 weeks after whelping

Hydatid Tapeworm Areas:
- Dogs living in areas affected by hydatid tapeworm should be treated every 6 weeks.
Dosage:
- One Drontal 10kg chew is sufficient for treating a dog weighing up to 10kg.

Drontal Dog Wormer
