EQUIMEC® Plus Tape is a powerful treatment for horses, designed to control and treat a wide range of internal and external parasites. It contains IVERMECTIN 8 mg/g and PRAZIQUANTEL 100 mg/g, making it effective against roundworms, tapeworms, bots, and skin lesions caused by Habronema, Draschia, and Onchocerca species.

This treatment targets a broad spectrum of parasites, including:
- Tapeworms
- Large strongyles
- Small strongyles (including those resistant to benzimidazole)
- Pinworms
- Ascarids (roundworms)
- Hairworms
- Large-mouth stomach worms
- Neck threadworms
- Bots
- Lungworms
- Intestinal threadworms
- Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores)
- Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis)
EQUIMEC® Plus Tape offers a high safety margin at the recommended dosage and is suitable for horses of all ages. It can be used in pregnant mares and stallions without affecting fertility. The product comes in a convenient, easy-to-use trigger applicator with a low dose volume.
The treatment is administered orally at a recommended dose of 1 mL per 40 kg of body weight. A single syringe treats a horse weighing up to 600 kg. Each weight marking on the syringe plunger delivers 2.5 g of paste, sufficient for 100 kg of body weight.
