By: Marilyn Brown on 6 July 2020Following the sudden resurrection of our pasture following the devastating drought, my already-rotund Hafflinger gained weight rapidly and developed laminitis. I treated her with Devil's Claw, White Willow, Flaxseed OIl and Hoof Gold. Without any harsh, near-starvation, lockup conditions (just limiting the expanse of her grazing), she has now fully recovered, even though she still needs to lose more weight.. I will continue to maintain her permanently on Flaxseed Oil, for its anti-inflammatory qualities, and Hoof Gold for its ability to assist in the assimilation of sugars.
