Gripsoft undercoat brush
By: Jane on 16 February 2019So initially I was really disappointed when this arrived. From memory the photo of the product only showed the back of the brush not the actual teeth so for some reason I got the idea the bristles would be plastic. The teeth are metal and really long so no good for our dog however this is the best brush for long thick coated cats! I have used various brushes on our cat including Furminators etc but this brush is the best. The furminator I found starts to hurt her and is most effective on wet hair. This brush she loves, it’s big, works fine dry and takes out so much undercoat but doesn’t snag which was an issue with the furminator. Plus it’s half the price of most hair removal brushes. Be warned if you don’t already know, it’s best to brush them on hard flooring where you can easily vacuum etc as with any brush hair does fly around. A water spray also helps.
