Jurox Vytrate Liquid 1L- supportive treatment for scouring animals

Vytrate is a non-antibiotic oral solution designed to support the treatment of dehydration and scouring in a wide range of animals, including calves, lambs, pigs, foals, dogs, and cats. By replenishing lost fluids and electrolytes, Vytrate helps to reduce the severity and duration of scouring and dehydration.

Key Ingredients per Litre:

• Glucose: 278.75g
• Sodium Chloride: 53.44g
• Glycine: 38.56g
• Potassium Phosphate Monobasic: 25.53g
• Citric Acid: 3.28g
• Potassium Citrate: 0.75g

Indications: Vytrate is intended as a supportive, non-antibiotic treatment for dehydrated and scouring animals, including:

• Calves, lambs, pigs, foals, dogs, and cats
• Treatment of scouring and dehydration caused by viral diseases like canine parvovirus or feline panleukopenia
• Stress relief for animals bought in or experiencing transport-related stress
• Aid for pregnancy toxaemia in ewes

Dosage Instructions: Vytrate should be mixed with water as per the following instructions:

• 40 mL Vytrate : 460 mL Water = 500 mL Solution
• 80 mL Vytrate : 920 mL Water = 1000 mL Solution
• 160 mL Vytrate : 1840 mL Water = 2000 mL Solution

Packaging:

• 1 Litre of Vytrate Liquid Concentrate makes 12.5 Litres of solution
• 5 Litres makes 62.5 Litres
• 20 Litres makes 250 Litres

Species-Specific Dosages:

• Foals: 1 to 2 litres of the diluted solution 2-3 times daily, depending on body weight and severity.
• Cats & Dogs:
  • Miniature dogs (<5kg): 125 mL 2-3 times daily
  • Small dogs (5-10 kg): 250 mL 2-3 times daily
  • Medium dogs (11-20 kg): 500 mL 2-3 times daily
  • Large dogs (>20 kg): 750 mL 2-3 times daily
• Calves:
  • For stressed or bought-in calves: 2 litres of solution instead of milk as the first feed. Follow with 1 litre solution alongside milk.
  • For scouring calves: 1-1.5 litres per 10 kg bodyweight daily, divided into 2 or more doses.
• Pigs:
  • For suckling piglets: 2-3 litres per day per litter, or 20-30 mL per piglet 3-4 times a day.
  • For weaned pigs: 1-2 litres per pig daily for up to 8 days, depending on condition.
• Sheep:
  • For scouring lambs: 150 mL 3 times daily.
  • For pregnancy toxaemia in ewes: 160 mL undiluted, repeated every 4-6 hours as necessary.

Additional Notes:

• Vytrate can be used in conjunction with antibiotic treatment when necessary.
• Fresh solution should be made up every 24 hours and should be discarded if unused.
• Always seek veterinary advice if blood is present or symptoms persist for more than 4 days.
