Kilverm Sheep and Cattle Wormer 1 Litre

KILVERM Oral Drench contains Levamisole, a member of the imidazothiazole (clear) group of drenches, and is highly effective in treating cattle and sheep against levamisole-susceptible strains of several common internal parasites.

Effective Against:

• Mature and immature Barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus spp)
• Stomach hairworm (Trichostrongylus axel)
• Thin necked intestinal worm (Nematodirus spp)
• Strongyloides nodule and large bowel worm (Oesophagostomum spp)
• Small brown stomach worm (Ostertagia spp)
• Black scour worm (Trichostrongylus spp)
• Small intestinal worm (Cooperia spp)
• Hookworm (Bunostomum spp)
• Large lungworm (Dictyocaulus spp)

Active Ingredient:

• 32 g/L Levamisole Hydrochloride (equivalent to 27g/L Levamisole)

Dosing Instructions:

• For Sheep:
  • Dose rate: 2.5 mL per 10 kg bodyweight.
  • Weigh the heaviest sheep in the mob and dose the entire group according to that animal’s weight (e.g., ewes, rams, lambs). For sheep over 80 kg, use the same rate of 2.5 mL per 10 kg bodyweight.
• For Cattle:
  • Dose rate: 10 mL per 45 kg bodyweight.
  • Weigh the heaviest cattle in the mob and dose all animals based on that weight (e.g., cows, bulls, calves). For cattle exceeding 675 kg, dose at the rate of 10 mL per 45 kg bodyweight.

Important Notes:

• Always ensure accurate dosing by checking the equipment before and during drenching.
• Never under-dose; ensure every animal receives the correct amount based on its weight to ensure effective treatment.
