Pyrantel is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic that targets roundworms, such as Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonine, and some tapeworm species. Dosing Schedule:

• For hookworms and roundworms:
  Treat dogs and puppies at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age, then every month until 6 months old, and every 3 months thereafter.

• For whipworms:
  Treat every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age.

• For tapeworms:
  Treat every 3 months.

• For hydatid tapeworms:

• For giardia:

For dogs weighing 20 to 87 kg:

• 20 to 35 kg: 1 tablet
• 31.1 to 52 kg: 1½ tablets
• 52.1 to 70 kg: 2 tablets
