The Ranvet Salkavite is the perfect suppliment to supply your horse with all of their critical electrolytes. The essential elements help energy conversion from carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It also reduces dehydration, muscle fatigue, cramping, poor performance and delayed recovery following exercise.

Directions for use/ contraindications:

• RACING & TROTTING HORSES: 30-60g daily as routine; plus an extra 30g the day before and the night after a race.
• STALLIONS AT STUD: 30g daily.
• YEARLINGS: 30-60g daily during sale preparation.
• ENDURANCE HORSES: 30-60g daily as routine; plus an extra 30g the day before and the night after a ride.
• POLO & SHOW HORSES: 30g daily, plus an extra 30g in the night feed after an event.
• TRAVELLING HORSES: 60-90g prior to start of journey; 30g in drinking water each day of trip.
• AS A SALINE DRENCH: Mix 160g with 2L of luke warm water and administer by stomach tube

Dosage rates:

• Heavy work/endurance 30-60g daily (dependant on temperature, humidity, sweating rate), also advisable to supply an additional 30g Salkavite in evening feed following hard work; Travelling horses 60-90g prior to journey in addition to 30g in water during transportation; Stallions (during breeding season) 30g daily; Yearlings (sale preparations) 30g daily.
