Sprint Oil - High Energy Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids
Sprint Oil is specifically formulated for racing greyhounds, Sprint Oil contains Omega 3 Linolenic acid 107mL/L and Omega 6 Linoleic acid 426Mg/L in a palatable liquid. Each litre provides 33.1MJ digestible energy.
Sprint Oils Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids provide 2.5 times the amount of available energy as an equivalent amount of glycogen. While providing readily usable energy, the Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids also provide an anti-inflammatory function and maintain excellent skin and coat condition.
To use Sprint oil either mix through the evening feed or dose directly into the mouth. It is likely to take at least 4-6 weeks for a dog to fully adjust to and utilise oil in the diet. It is recommended that increases in dosage are conducted slowly over 5-7 days to allow adaptation to high fat diets.

By: Angela on 30 June 2011I do not own a greyhound, but I do own a Boxer dog who is very hard to keep weight on, and he is quite a fussy boy when it comes to food also. I first tried this when I saw it in a Pet Store, and thought I'd give it a whirl. Well - the fussy Boxer started drooling at the smell, and actually lapped it up before I had a chance to add his food to the bowl. It also helped him put on weight, as well as give his coat a nice lusturious shine. Totally recommend this product!
