The difference between Generation 1 and 2 gullet plates is that the holes in the Generation 1 plates are 11mm or bigger (OVAL shaped). The holes in the Generation 2 plates are normally smaller than 11mm (CIRCLE shaped). If you purchased your saddle brand new since 2016 it will be generation 2 gullet that you need. Older saddles you will need to check the holes.
