Troy Nutripet High Energy Vitamin Supplement is a highly palatable, high-calorie dietary supplement designed for dogs and cats that have been lacking adequate nutrition over an extended period.
This supplement provides a comprehensive blend of vitamins and minerals, along with approximately 1,500 kJ of metabolizable energy per 100g, derived from fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. Nutripet contains essential nutrients, including:
- Vitamins: A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, B12, Nicotinamide, Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid
- Minerals: Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Iodine
This formulation supports pets in need of extra calories and vitamin supplementation, especially when their nutritional intake is insufficient. Nutripet can also be used to help pets take tablets more easily by covering them with the gel, making it a practical solution for reluctant eaters.
Directions for Use:
- For general use or to stimulate appetite during recovery: Give 10g (approximately 2 x 10cm strips) per 5kg body weight daily.
- For use as the primary source of nutrition: Administer 15g (approximately 3 x 10cm strips) per 5kg body weight daily, or adjust as necessary based on your pet's individual needs.
Nutripet is typically accepted eagerly by pets due to its delicious flavor. To introduce it to your pet, place a small amount in their mouth initially.
Vet Shed Nurse Tip: Nutripet High Energy Vitamin Paste is thick and flavorful, making it a treat that most pets enjoy. If your cat or dog is not happy to take it on their own you can remove the plunger from a 5ml syringe, squeeze the paste into the syringe, then reattach the plunger. You can then easily administer the paste directly into your pet’s mouth. For cats, another effective method is to apply some of the Nutripet paste to their leg. Cats will typically groom it off, making it a simple way to ensure they get the supplement.Nutripet paste is an excellent option for pets who are not eating well, as it provides a concentrated boost of essential vitamins and energy in a form that’s easy to administer.

TROY NUTRIPET PASTE
By: Robin Ruth Henderson on 22 December 2016Cats are difficult to medicate but my red Norwegian Forest Cat "Yodle" shows great interest when he sees me with the tube of Nutripet vitamin paste. No need to put it on his paws...he will lick the dose off my fingers. He loves my Vegemite and toast so have taken to putting Nutripet on a little piece of toast. Since he has been having Troy Nutripet he is a lot more energetic and is back eating his food. Recently he has been missing his mate who sadly had to go to pussycat heaven, I'd never seen a cat grieve like that. He was off his food and just sat at the veranda door looking out on to his mates's little grave in the flower bed. It was so sad and I thought I would lose him but Nutrigel picked him up and now he is enjoying his cat tree and toys again. Thanks Vet Shed.

He loves it I put some on his tummy an he is so busy licking it off he doesnt realise his nails are being cut. Monster is a ferret. I find Vet Shed to have the best price for this item. I will continue to buy from them if they continue to list a good price. 5 stars.

12 May 2014Great product, our 21 year old cat loves his food but struggled to keep weight on before we started him on Nutripet. Now he looks healthy and has a lot more energy and resilience, we have a much happier cat!!
