Omega 3 fatty acids (linolenic acid) 225 mg, omega 6 fatty acids (linoleic acid) 210 mg, omega 9 fatty acids (oleic acid) 480 mg, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) 1 mg.
Actions An appropriate ratio of omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids (EFAs) is necessary to promote a healthy coat and skin. A deficiency of EFAs is a frequent cause of a lustreless coat. The combination of all three omega oils ensures that EFAs are absorbed in the correct ratio. Diets rich in omega 6 will suppress omega 3, while omega 9 dilutes the amount of omega 6, thereby ensuring the correct ratio of omega oils is maintained.
Indications An essential fatty acid (EFA) supplement. Also acts as an aid for flea allergy dermatitis, but only if flea control measures are also used.
Dosage and Administration 1 mL/7 kg bodyweight/day, or as directed by a veterinarian, to be administered orally.
