Fluverm In-Feed Powdered Wormer for Pigs & Poultry

Fluverm is a highly effective, easy-to-use in-feed powdered wormer designed to aid in the control of sensitive strains of internal parasites in pigs and poultry. It effectively targets all life stages of worms, including tapeworms in poultry, without affecting egg production, fertility, or embryo formation.

Active Ingredient:

• 50 mg/g Flubendazole (Benzimidazole group)

Parasites Controlled:

Chickens:

• Gastrointestinal worms: Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp.
• Tapeworm: Raillietina spp.

Pigs:

• Gastrointestinal worms: Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidis, Oesophagostomum dentatum
• Lungworm: Metastrongylus apri

Dosage & Administration:

Chickens:

• Gastrointestinal worms – 600 g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (30 ppm) for 7 consecutive days
• Tapeworm – 1200 g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (60 ppm) for 7 consecutive days

For small numbers: Mix 1 supplied measuring spoon (13 g) of Fluverm into 21.5 kg of compound feed. Ensure birds have access to feed throughout the treatment.

Pigs:

• 600 g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (30 ppm) for 10 consecutive days
• Breeding pigs (individual treatment): Mix Fluverm into feed at 5 mg flubendazole per kg of body weight. This corresponds to 1 measuring spoon (13 g) per 130 kg of body weight.

Fluverm should be thoroughly mixed into feed and can be administered as mash, crumble, or pellet.

Withholding Periods:

• Meat (Chickens & Pigs): Remove medicated feed 7 days before slaughter for human consumption
• Eggs: Zero withholding period

Export Slaughter Interval (ESI) for Pigs:

• Do not use less than 7 days before slaughter for export. Confirm the current ESI with Vetsense or the APVMA website.

Safety & Handling:

• May irritate eyes; avoid contact
• Wear protective clothing and gloves when handling
• Wash hands after use and clean contaminated clothing

Environmental Protection:

• Very toxic to aquatic life
• Do not contaminate wetlands or watercourses with the product or used containers
