Rate of Use:

VyLyte is a liquid concentrate that must be diluted with clean, fresh water. The final volume should be 12.5 times the quantity of the concentrate. Here’s how to prepare it:

• To make 1L of ready-to-use solution, mix 80mL of VyLyte concentrate with water to make 1L.
• For 2L, use 160mL of VyLyte and add water to make 2L.
• For 125mL, use 10mL of VyLyte concentrate and add water to make 125mL.

Always ensure clean drinking water is available when using VyLyte. Discard unused solution every 24 hours and replace with fresh solution.

Usage Instructions:

• At the first sign of scouring: Offer VyLyte to replace lost fluid and electrolytes.
• Sick or debilitated animals: Seek veterinary advice if treating animals that are severely ill.

Specific Species Guidelines:

Pigs

• Suckling Piglets: Administer 2-3L/day of diluted VyLyte per litter of week-old piglets. Ensure solution, drinking water, or sow’s milk is available.
• Weaned Pigs: Limit feed for 1-2 days and provide 1-2L/day of diluted VyLyte.
• Treatment Duration: Use VyLyte for 4 days; extend to 8 days if scouring persists.

Calves

• Bought-in Calves: Offer 2L of diluted VyLyte instead of milk on arrival, followed by 1L at the next feed. Continue normal diet afterward.
• Scouring Calves: Administer 1L to 1.5L per 10kg of body weight daily, split into multiple doses. Increase the amount if severe dehydration is present.
• During Scouring: Continue milk feeding, with VyLyte given between milk feeds. Always provide fresh water.

Lambs & Kids

• Administer 150-200mL of fresh diluted VyLyte 2-4 times daily through a feeding bottle, warming the solution to body temperature.

Pregnancy Toxaemia in Ewes/Goats

• Provide 160mL of undiluted VyLyte every 4-6 hours using a drench gun or as directed by a veterinarian.

Foals

• For scouring or dehydration, administer 1-2L of fresh diluted VyLyte 2-3 times a day or as directed by a veterinarian.
