Wombaroo Granivore provides comprehensive nutrition for hand-rearing and supplementing grain-eating birds. This formula ensures birds receive the right balance of protein, vitamins, and minerals for healthy growth and development.

Hand Rearing Instructions:

1. Rehydration: Start by rehydrating chicks with an electrolyte solution.
2. Prepare Granivore Rearing Mix: Mix the Granivore powder with warm, pre-boiled water (around 50°C) in the following ratio:
   • Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes to absorb the water, remix, and feed at 38-40°C using a spoon or syringe.
   • Feed until the crop is full, ensuring no food enters the windpipe.
   • Clean around the beak and face after each feed.
   • Allow a 6-hour fasting period at least once a day to help the crop empty completely.
   • Always clean utensils thoroughly and prepare fresh food for each meal.

Growth:
Consistent weight gain indicates good health. Weigh chicks regularly to monitor growth and ensure sufficient feeding amounts. Growth and feeding charts for different species are available under Hand-Rearing.

To Feed as a Supplement:

• Fruit & Veg: Mix 1 level scoop of Granivore powder with 20g diced fruit or vegetables. Ideal for parrots, pigeons, and frugivores. Prepare fresh daily.
• Egg Food: Mix 2 level scoops of Granivore powder with 1 teaspoon of bread or biscuit crumbs and 1 mashed hard-boiled egg. This mixture is perfect for canaries, finches, and breeding birds. Prepare fresh daily.
